The Edward History Book Committee has been formed to compile information on the communities of Pierson and Lyleton and the R.M. of Edward. This publication will be a sequel to "Harvests of Time" (published in 1983).

 

We met with Friesen Printers on January 20, 2010.  Tentative timelines were discussed with the ultimate goal of a published sequel by November 2011. Family histories and pictures would need to be submitted by Sunday, October 31, 2010.

 

We have started the grant application process to help with the financial side of this project and will gratefully accept any donations.

 

We are also asking residents and former residents of the R.M.of Edward to spread the word and have their families start working on family, business, and organization histories.

 

We would like to receive the majority of our submissions early in 2010 and hope to collect many at Pierson's Homecoming celebrations on the weekend of July 9-11, 2010.
